    Bourbon Brownie Pie

    Make your favourite brownie recipe. Pour 1/2" brownie batter into 10" pie pan & bake 10 minutes less than according to brownie recipe directions. Cool.

    Filling:
    1 pkg un-flavoured gelatin
    1/4 cup water
    1/2 cup bourbon
    5 egg yolks
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 cup heavy cream

    Recipe



    Soften gelatin in water. Add 3 tbsp bourbon & heat until gelatin dissolves. Cool slightly. Beat egg yolks until thick & slowly add sugar. Mix gelatin with egg yolks & add rest of bourbon. Whip the cream & fold into mixture. Pour into cooled brownie crust & refrigerate 4 hours.

    Topping: (optional)
    Whip 1 cup of heavy cream & spread over Bourbon Pie. Top with 2 tbsp shaved chocolate.
