List of Ingredients




2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon

Set a side.

In a sauce pan combine
1 stick oleo or butter
½ cup shortening
1 cup water
2 heaping tablespoons cocoa

Bring to a boil and pour over flour, sugar and salt. Mix well then add

½ cup buttermilk or sour milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix together and bake in a greased and floured cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.

While cake is baking mix
1 box powdered sugar
1 stick melted oleo or butter
6 tablespoons milk
3 heaping tablespoons cocoa
½ cup broken pecans

Mix and spread over cake as soon as it comes out of the oven.
