6 Granny Smith apples (peeled and cut)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 Golden Delicious Apples (peeled and cut)
2 tablespoons flour
Pie dough, rolled into 9" pie pan
1/8 teaspoon salt


Recipe



Roll out pie dough into 9" pie pan and set aside. Mix flour, salt, cinnamon, and sugar together in large bowl and toss to coat apples. Place coated apples into pie crust, add crumb topping (see below) and bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

Crumb Topping
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup butter (chilled)
1 cup chopped Macadamia nuts

Mix dry ingredients together in a bowl and cut in butter with pastry blender (or do it in a Kitchen Aid at slow speed with flat beater). Add in Macadamia nuts.
