List of Ingredients




6 eggs, separated
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 heaping teaspoons baking powder
1 cup flour
2 round 9-inch baking pans


Recipe



Beat egg whites until foamy. Slowly add eggs yolks to egg whites, one at a time. Add sugar and vanilla.

Add baking power to flour and gradually add to the other ingredients, mix well.

Pour half the batter into each round pans. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes.




Topping
1 medium can crushed pineapple
1 1/2 pints of heavy cream (WHIP)
3 teaspoons sugar
1 large can of sliced peaches
12 strawberries, cut in half
Whip cream with sugar until peaks.
Place on plate 1st layer on which you spread crushed pineapple and 1 cup of whipped cream.

Cover the 2nd layer and dribble peach juice evenly over the top.
Spread the rest of the whipped cream over the top and sides.
Decorate top with peaches and strawberries.

Tip: Make ahead of time, at least one day
