    Peach-Pecan Upside Down-Cake

    1 stick butter
    3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    2-3 peeled sliced peaches or 1 lg. can of peaches
    15 pecan halves
    1 box spice cake mix -- 18 oz

    Recipe



    In 10-11" cast-iron skillet or 9x13 pan, melt butter & brown sugar over low heat, stir until smooth. Remove from heat.
    Arrange peach slices & pecans in pattern over sugar mixture. Set aside.
    Prepare cake mix according to pkg. directions
    Pour batter over fruit in skillet
    Bake at 350°, 35-45 minutes or until cake bounces back when lightly pressed
    Immediately invert on serving platter
    Cool to lukewarm before cutting
