    1 package gelatin
    18 graham crackers
    1/2 cup powdered sugar
    1/4 cup butter
    1 egg separated
    1/2 cup crushed pineapple
    1/4 cup chopped walnuts

    Recipe



    Prepare gelatin and set aside to cool. Place layer of graham cracker, having them fit snugly into loaf pan. Spread over layer of filling made by mixing powdered sugar, butter and egg yolk, beaten, crushed pineapple and walnuts, then stiffly beaten egg whites. Place in refrigerator to chill.
    A spoonful of whipped cream at serving time makes it tasty.

    This recipe contains uncooked egg, so the eggs have to be fresh and the cake eaten right away, or it could pose a health hazard
    due to salmonella.
