    1/2 cup butter
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup strong coffee
    1-1/2 cups pastry flour
    2-1/2 tsp baking soda
    3 egg whites stiffly beaten
    3/4 cup walnut meats
    1-1/2 tsp vanilla

    Recipe



    Cream butter and sugar
    Add remaining ingredients in order given
    Pour into a buttered shallow cake pan
    Bake 350° for about 45 minutes
    Frost with mocha frosting
