List of Ingredients




3 eggs
2 cups sugar
1-1/2 cups oil
3 cups flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 cups chopped apples (tart, firm baking apples work best)
1 cup chopped nuts


Recipe



Combine the ingredients in the order listed. Mix well. (the mixture will be
thick)

Spread in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Let cool before adding topping.


Topping:

Combine 1 stick of butter (no substitutions!), 1/4 cup milk, 1 cup brown
sugar.

Bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook 2-1/2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Drizzle over the cake while the topping is still hot.
