Cranberry Ice Cream Squares

1 pd. Oreo cookies (about 42)
1 qt. vanilla ice cream
1&1/2 C Whole-Cranberry sauce
1 T Grand Marnier or any orange-flavor liqueur


Recipe



Grind the cookies fine and pat half the crumbs firmly into the bottom of a 9" sq. pan lined with plastic wrap.

In a large bowl beat the ice cream until it is softened; add the cranberry-sauce and the liqueur and beat until it is just combined. Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs and pat the crumbs over the mixture.

Freeze 6 hrs. or until firm. Invert and unmold onto patter. Remove wrap. Cut into squares with a serrated knife.
