List of Ingredients




1 3/4 to 2 cups of butter
1/2 cup of corn syrup
1/3 cup of sugar
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
2 teaspoons of cloves
1 tablespoon of bitter orange peel
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1/2 cup of chopped almonds
2 3/4 cups of flour

Heat the butter, syrup, syrup, and sugar in saucepan until butter is melted and sugar dissolved. remove from heat and let cool.
Add cinnamon, cloves, orange peel, baking soda, almonds, and flour to butter mixture, blend well. Shape dough into rolls 1 1/2 inch in diameter. refrigerate until firm.
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
Cut rolls into thin slices. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 7 minutes.
