    1-1/4 cups butter
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 egg yolk
    3 cups flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 cup plus 2 tbl. brandy
    1 cup finely chopped pecans
    1 cup powdered sugar

    Recipe



    Cream the butter and 1/2 cup sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add the egg yolk, and mix well. Combine the flour and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternately with the brandy, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Stir in the pecans. Chill the dough for 1 hour.

    Roll the dough into 1 inch balls. Place on a greased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 350* for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Let cool slightly, and roll in powdered sugar.
