    1/2 cup Butter
    1/2 cup Brown sugar
    1 Egg
    1 1/4 cups Flour -- sifted
    1/4 teaspoon Salt

    FILLING
    2 Eggs
    1 cup Brown sugar
    1 teaspoon Vanilla
    2 tablespoons Flour
    1/4 teaspoon Salt
    1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
    1 1/2 cups Shredded coconut
    1 cup Unsalted macadamia nuts -- chopped

    FROSTING
    1 1/2 cups Powdered sugar
    2 tablespoons Pineapple juice
    1 tablespoon Lemon juice

    Recipe



    Make a pastry base by creaming butter, then adding sugar slowly. Add egg and beat until light and fluffy.
    Add flour and salt to the butter-sugar mixture and blend well. Pat dough into the bottom of an oblong pan. Bake in a 350~ oven for 15 minutes, then cool. Combine filling ingredients and mix well. Pour over the cooled pastry base. Bake in a 350~ oven for 20 minutes. Cool. Spread with frosting made of powdered sugar thinned with pineapple and lemon juices. Cut into bars.
