Makes about 3 dozen.

1 cup sugar
1 cup confectioners' sugar
2 sticks margarine, softened
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
4 cups all-purpose flour


Recipe



Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix all the ingredients well and cool for 1 hour. Roll the dough into 1 1/2-inch balls. Place on a non-stick cookie sheet. Press flat with a fork dipped in sugar. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
