2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar -- packed
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla
3/4 cup chopped pecans
8 ounces dark chocolate chunks
8 ounces white chocolate chunks
1 cup old-fashioned oats
1 cup dried bing cherries -- pitted


Recipe



In small bowl, mix together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Set
aside. In large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth. Gradually add flour mixture until
combined. Stir in nuts, chocolate, oats and cherries. Form into 1 1 $
2-inch-diameter balls and chill or freeze. When needed, preheat oven to
375 degrees. Place dough balls on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 8-10
minutes until just slightly browned around the edges. Cool slightly wire
rack. Serve warm with milk.
