    1 ½ cups white sugar
    1 cup butter, softened
    1 cup sour cream
    2 eggs
    1 can (6-ounce) orange juice concentrate thawed and divided
    4 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    ½ teaspoon salt
    2 tablespoons grated orange peel

    FROSTING:
    3 tablespoons butter, soft
    1 tablespoon orange rind, grated
    1 tablespoon orange concentrate
    1 ½ cup powdered sugar

    Recipe



    In bowl mix sugar and butter until fluffy. Add sour cream and eggs. Beat well. Reserve 1 tablespoon orange juice concentrate for frosting. Add remaining concentrate with dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, mix well. Stir in orange peel. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.

    Bake @ 350° for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges just begin to turn brown.

    For frosting: mix butter, orange rind and orange juice together. Then add powdered sugar and beat until smooth. Add a teaspoon of milk, only if needed.

    Frost slightly warm cookies.
