3 C. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 C. butter
1 C. sugar
2 eggs
2 T. vanilla
apricot jam or marmalade
1/3 C. walnuts, finely chopped

Recipe



Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a small mixing bowl, sift together flour and salt.
In a medium mixing bowl, cream together butter and
sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla; beat well. Mix in dry
ingredients. Using a tablespoon, roll dough into balls
and place onto greased baking sheets. Using the palm
of your hand, press each cookie flat. Spoon 1/4
teaspoon apricot jam or marmalade into center of each
cookie. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Bake 8-10
minutes. Makes 7-8 dozen cookies.
