    BOTTOM LAYER:
    3 oz unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 cup plus 1/3 cup butter, divided use
    1 1/2 cups graham wafer crumbs
    1/2 cup finely chopped toasted pecans

    MIDDLE LAYER:
    1 pkg Jello instant pudding mix, any flavor
    1/3 cup butter
    1/3 cup boiling water
    2 cups powdered sugar

    TOP LAYER:
    3 oz semi sweet chocolate
    1/2 cup heavy (whipping) cream

    TO MAKE THE BOTTOM LAYER:
    Melt unsweetened chocolate and 1/2 cup butter over low heat. Remove from heat; add crumbs and pecans, mix well. Press into 9 inch square pan, chill.

    TO MAKE THE MIDDLE LAYER:
    Mix the dry pudding mix, the remaining 1/3 cup butter and water. Blend in powdered sugar. Spread over base. Chill until firm.

    TO MAKE THE TOP LAYER:
    Melt chocolate and cream over low heat. Stir until smooth. Spread over pudding layer. Chill. Store in refrigerator.

    Let stand at room temperature for about 5 minutes before slicing.

    Makes 24 bars
