1 package Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix™
1 egg
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 tablespoons water
10 ounces Oreo cookies, crushed (but not very much)
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts



Recipe



Heat the oven to 350 F. Crush the cookies, but leave them in large chunks. Mix together all of the dry ingredients, Add the wet ones and stir just until all the dry ingredients are wet.

Scoop about 2 tablespoons of dough for each cookie, and space them about 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet. Flatten the cookies (to about 1/2 inch) with the bottom of a flat-bottomed drinking glass (wet the glass bottom before flattening each cookie). Bake for 9 - 11 minutes, longer for a shiny cookie sheet, shorter for a dark cookie sheet. Cool for a couple of minutes on the sheet, then remove and cool completely on a rack. This makes about 2-1/2 dozen cookies.
