    1/4 cup butter
    1 cup flour
    2 tbl. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. baking powder
    3 medium peaches, sliced (1-1/2 cups)
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 egg yolks
    1 cup whipping cream

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400*.
    Cut butter into flour, sugar, salt and baking powder, using pastry cutter or crisscrossing 2 knives, until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Pat mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom and halfway up the sides of ungreased square pan, 8 by 8 by 2 inches.

    Spread peaches over the crust in the pan. Mix 1/3 cup sugar and the cinnamon. Sprinkle over the peaches. Bake for 15 minutes.

    Beat egg yolks and whipping cream. Pour over the peaches.
    Bake 25-30 minutes or until custard is set and edges are light brown. Serve warm.
    Refrigerate leftovers.

    16 ounces frozen sliced peaches, thawed and drained, or 1 can (16 oz.) sliced peaches can be substituted for the fresh peaches.
