Scandinavian Cream Cookies

2-3/4 cups flour
Pinch salt
1/2 cup cream
1 cup butter, at room temperature
Sugar
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, melted Recipe
Sift together flour and salt. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Blend in cream with a fork; mix well. Chill dough at least one hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll out dough 1/8-inch thick on a sugared board. Cut into desired shapes, or into 1-1/2-inch circles.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Sandwich cooled cookies together with a thin layer of melted chocolate.
Makes about 8 dozen small cookies.
