4 ½ c. flour
1 t. baking powder
½ t. soda
½ t. salt
Combine these dry ingredients and set aside.
1 ½ c. sugar
2/3 c. vegetable oil

Sprinkle logs lightly with sugar
Bake in 350* oven for 30 minutes. Cool 30 minutes on cookie sheets. Cut on cutting board in diagonal ¾ inch slices. Place slices on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake cookie slices at 300* for 15-20 minutes or until firm. Cool on wire racks. Store in airtight container up to 1 week or freeze up to 1 month. Makes about 4 ½ dozen. Great for dipping into coffee or tea.
