    MIX THE FOLLOWING INGREDIENTS IN A LARGE BOWL:

    1 large head of cabbage or 1 bag of precut coleslaw
    2 white onions
    1 cup sugar

    BRING THE FOLLOWING INGREDIENTS TO A BOIL:

    2 teaspoon sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon dry mustard
    3/4 cup vegetable oil
    1 teaspoon celery seed
    1 cup vinegar

    Pour boiling mixture over the cabbage/onion mixture. DO NOT STIR FOR 4 HOURS. Refrigerate. Add green, red, or yellow peppers and pimento for color. Stir before serving. Will keep for 3 months in covered container in refrigerator
