    Garlic and Ginger Marinated Chicken

    1 cup plain yogurt
    8 cloves of fresh garlic
    2 tablespoons fresh gingerroot, chopped
    2 teaspoons Ancho chile powder
    sea salt to taste
    1-3 pound chicken, cut into 8 pieces
    1 lemon, cut into 4 large wedges

    Recipe



    Put a couple tablespoons of yogurt into your blender and add the garlic and ginger. Blend until smooth. Add remaining yogurt and spices and mix thoroughly.

    Place the chicken into a zip lock bag and pour the mixture into the bag. Shake gently to coat and allow the chicken to marinate over night.

    Grill the chicken over hot coals until done, about 45 minutes depending on your grill.

    Serve with lemon wedges on the side or squeeze juice over the chicken just before removing from the grill.
