    2 pounds ground pork
    1 Granny Smith apple - peeled, cored and chopped
    1 sweet onion, finely chopped
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
    1 egg
    1 (20 ounce) can pineapple

    Recipe



    1 Preheat an outdoor grill for medium high heat and lightly oil grate.

    2 In a large bowl, combine the pork, apple, onion, garlic, teriyaki sauce and egg. Mix together well. If too dry, add some juice from the can of pineapple slices. Form into eight patties.

    3 Grill over medium heat for 10 to 20 minutes, or to desired doneness.

    4 Try serving on toasted buns with a slice of pineapple on top of each burger.
