    2-2/3 cups dry Quaker Oats Old-fashioned Oatmeal
    6 cups of water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    6 apples, peeled, cored,
    sliced in six, then halved
    2 tbsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    Pam

    Recipe



    Spray slow cooker with Pam to keep food from sticking to it. Mix all other ingredients together in slow cooker. Cook on low for 3 hours. It is then ready to serve with Splenda or Brown Sugar Substitute and nonfat whipped cream. To make consistency and taste more desirable, refrigerate in a casserole dish overnight. Spoon servings into pudding dish and microwave.

    Variations: Before cooking, stir in some raisins for each serving. To reduce or increase recipe servings: For one serving, use 1/3 cup dry oats and 2/3 cup water, a few grains of salt, a little cinnamon and vanilla, and a dash of nutmeg. Then multiply by the number of servings you need.
