    2 cups Granulated Sugar
    2 cup All-purpose Flour
    2 large Eggs
    1 cup Butter or Margarine
    1 tsp. Vanilla
    4 Tbs. Cocoa Powder
    1 cup Water
    1/2 cup Buttermilk
    1 tsp. Baking Soda
    8-10 Thin Mint Patties (Chocolate After Dinner Mints)

    Recipe



    1. Preheat oven to 375-F degrees and spray a 9-inch by 13-inch cake pan with a non-stick cooking spray. 2. Combine flour and sugar in a large mixing bowl and reserve. Combine butter, cocoa powder and water in a saucepan over medium heat and stir constantly to thoroughly blend all ingredients until the mixture comes to a boil. Add the chocolate sauce mixture to the flour and sugar.

    2. In a separate mixing bowl combine eggs, buttermilk, baking soda and vanilla. Mix well, and add to the flour and sugar bowl.

    3. Utilizing a food processor or blender, grind the mints into fine crumbs, then add chopped mints to the brownie batter and thoroughly mix all ingredients. Pour batter into prepared cake pan and bake for 20 to 30-minutes. Cool at least 20-minutes prior serving.

    Yield: 24 brownies
