    8 oz. nonfat vanilla yogurt
    1/4 cup Sugar-free Maple-flavored syrup (Cary`s)
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    12 thin apple slices
    1 Tbs. lemon juice
    2 cup chilled cooked instant rice

    Recipe



    Combine yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Stir to blend. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

    Sprinkle apple slices with lemon juice. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

    Just before serving, fold chilled cooked rice into yogurt mixture. Spoon into six wine or dessert glasses. Garnish each glass with two apple slices.


    Yield; 6 servings
