    16 ounces fresh strawberries
    1 cup water
    1 cup strawberry flavored sugar free syrup
    1 tablespoon lemon juice

    Recipe



    Puree cleaned berries in blender or food processor and push through cheesecloth or a sieve to remove seeds. Set aside. Whisk water and syrup together. Stir in reserved strawberry puree and lemon juice. Pour mixture into the freezing drum unit of any ice cream maker and process according to manufacturer’s directions.

    Transfer sorbet into eight individual small freezer safe containers and place in freezer for two hours, for optimal serving texture. Any sorbet not eaten immediately can be placed left in freezer for up to two weeks. Place in microwave for a few seconds before eating, to soften slightly. Makes eight servings.
