    1 cup cake flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 1/2 Tablespoons of cocoa
    1/2 cup milk
    1 Tablespoon melted margarine
    1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    1 Tablespoon chopped raisins
    1/2 cup brown sugar mixed with 2 Tablespoons cocoa
    2 cups boiling water

    Recipe



    Mix together the first five ingredients
    Mix milk, margarine & vanilla essence.
    Add it to the first mixture.
    Stir until well blended Add raisins.
    Mix, turn the batter in greased baking dish
    Sprinkle brown sugar and cocoa mixture on top.
    Pour boiling water over the batter.
    Bake it at 350° for 30 minutes
    The pudding forms its own sauce

    Note: Chopped walnuts may be used instead of chopped raisins.

    Note: There are no eggs in this recipe

    Serve warm with custard or whipped cream

    Makes 8 generous portions
