Baked Quince

2 pounds quince, peeled, cored and sliced
6 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
6 tablespoons water
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or sliced almonds
Recipe
Place quince in 9-by-13-inch baking dish overlapping slices. Sprinkle fruit with lime juice and drizzle with honey and water. Cover dish tightly with foil.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until the slices are tender. Remove foil and turn heat to 425 degrees, sprinkle with nuts and bake for 10 minutes or until the liquid is thickened and the slices are golden.
