    Source of Recipe

    Internet

    List of Ingredients

    Pizza crust

    4 ounces Milk
    3 ounces Water
    2 1/2 cups Flour
    1/3 cup Shortening
    1/3 cup Sugar
    1/2 teaspoon Salt
    1 ounce Dry yeast

    Streusel filling

    1/2 cup Brown sugar
    1/2 cup Flour
    1/4 cup Butter
    1 cup Apple butter
2 1/2 Apples, cored and sliced
1/2 cup White chocolate, chips or shredded
    1/4 cup Semisweet chocolate, minced

    Caramel

    1 1/2 cups Sugar
    1/3 cup Heavy cream

    Recipe

    Crust

Scale all ingredients and place in mixing bowl. Then with a dough hook, mix until soft (about four minutes). Ball the dough and let rest for 10 minutes. Then roll dough out into a pizza pan. Form the edges and let it raise for 15 minutes. Bake in an oven at 325º for five minutes. Make sure you prick the dough with a fork before placing the crust into the oven.

    Streusel filling

Take the softened butter, flour and brown sugar and mix together and set aside.

    Caramel

Place sugar in a saucepan and heat the sugar over moderate heat until it liquefies and turns brown. Be careful not to get the sugar too hot that it burns. Shut off the heat. Then add the heavy cream and stir until blended.
    Assembly

On the pre-baked crust, place the apple butter and smear it all over.
Line the apples in rolls on top of the apple butter and drizzle with the warm caramel.
Sprinkle the streusel filling on top and bake for 20 minutes at 325 degrees.
When you take the pie out of the oven, sprinkle the white and semi-sweet chocolate over and drizzle more caramel.
    Servings:12

Note: you can use any kind of apple that you like, but Granny Smiths offer a nice tartness.
