    1 cup butter or margarine
    2 cups sifted powdered sugar
    4 squares bitter chocolate, melted
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 tsp. peppermint extract
    4 eggs
    1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs

    Recipe



    Beat butter & sugar in a large bowl until mixture is light & fluffy.
    Add melted chocolate, and beat until well blended
    Add extracts, mixing well.
    Add eggs, one at a time mixing well after each addition. Set aside.
    Put paper cupcake liners in 12-18 large muffin tins.
    Sprinkle half the vanilla wafer crumbs into the bottom of the cups (approximately 1/2 tsp. per cup).
    Spoon chocolate mixture on top of crumbs, sprinkle with remaining mixture, then freeze.
    The frangos may be served frozen or taken out of the freezer & put in the refrigerator until serving.
    Serves 12
