    1/2 pint whipping cream
    4 eggs, separated
    8 Tablespoons (1/2 cup) sugar used in 2 parts
    1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
    6 ounces (6 blocks) semi-sweet or sweet chocolate
    2 Tablespoons water

    Recipe



    Whip whipping cream and chill.

    Separate eggs. To yolks, add 4 tablespoons sugar and extract; whip until thick. To egg whites, add 4 tablespoons sugar and whip to soft meringue. Melt chocolate in water over double boiler. Pour melted chocolate into yolk mixture and whip until smooth, then fold in meringue. Fold in whipped cream and place in glasses and refrigerate or freeze until needed.

    Serves: 6 to 8
