    Easy Elegant Baked Bananas

    5 to 6 ripe large bananas
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup white sugar
    1/4 cup blackberry brandy
    1 tsp cinnamon
    grated fresh nutmeg
    Optional: fresh blackberries, whipped cream, ice cream
    etc

    In a 9 inch square pan placed peeled whole bananas
    side by side. Melt butter or margarine and pour over
    bananas. Sprinkle with the sugars and cinnamon. Pour
    on the brandy. Bake in a 350F oven until tender about
    20 to 30 minutes. Place bananas in individual serving dishes
    spoon some sauce over. Garnish with fresh berries and whipped
    cream if desired or leave plain for a side dish for poultry etc.
    Yield: 6 servings
