    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
    4 eggs
    1 oz. brandy
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 t. vanilla

    Recipe



    In a heavy non-iron pan, over moderate heat, melt the sugar and cook, stirring until golden brown. Pour into ovenproof dish (6x10 inches or 8x11 inches) and coat dish well. Place dish in a larger pan of water (about 1 inch of water or enough to reach about halfway up the outside of the sugar coated dish). Mix all the other ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. Pour mixture into sugar coated dish. Bake, uncovered, at 375 for 35 to 45 min. or until knife inserted into middle comes out clean. Cool at room temperature and then refrigerate until set. Un mold by placing dish briefly in warm water to loosen; turn into serving dish. May be made 1 to 2 days ahead and kept covered in the refrigerator. Garnish with fruit.
