    German Caramel Chocolate Brownies

    1 14oz package Kraft caramels
    1 German (Swiss) chocolate cake mix
    3/4 cup melted butter
    1 cup chocolate chips
    1 small can evaporated milk
    1 cup chopped walnuts

    Recipe



    Melt the caramels and 1/3 c evaporated milk. Mix cake mix, melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, walnuts.

    Grease 9" x 13" pan; pat 1/2 of cake mixture in it. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes.

    Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips and pour caramel mixture over partially cooled base. Drop/crumble rest of cake mixture over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

    Remove from oven; refrigerate before cutting (because of caramel)
