    2 cups sifted powdered sugar
    3 tab water
    1/2 teas vanilla extract
    vegetable oil
    1 can (10-count) refrigerated biscuits

    Recipe



    In a small bowl, combine powdered sugar, water and vanilla; stir until smooth
    In a heavy, medium saucepan, heat 1 to 1-1/2 inches of oil over medium-high heat
    Using the middle of a doughnut cutter or a small round cookie cutter, cut out centers of biscuits
    Fry doughnuts and holes in oil until lightly browned on both sides; drain on paper towels
    Dip hot doughnuts and holes into glaze and place on wire rack with waxed paper underneath
    Serve warm
    Yield: 10 doughnuts & 10 holes
