    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. soda (baking soda)
    4 C. flour
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 C. sugar
    1 C. sour cream
    1 tsp. salt

    Recipe



    Add sugar to well beaten eggs. Add soda to sour cream. Mix with rest of ingredients and roll to 1/2" thick on floured board. Cut and fry in deep lard, until doughnuts are golden brown and float to the top. Roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.

    These delicious morsels are special favorites at threshing dinners.
