    9-inch unbaked pastry shell
    1/2 tablespoon of butter or margarine
    1/4 cup of finely chopped onion
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    8 ounces of plain yogurt
    1 cup of Half and half
    1 teaspoon of salt
    Dash Pepper
    Dash Cayenne
    1/2 pound of bacon, cooked and crumbled OR 1 cup of cooked chopped ham OR 1-1/2 cup of cooked diced shrimp
    1/4 Pound Gruyere or Swiss cheese, Shredded

    Sauté onion in butter. Cool. Combine eggs, yogurt, half and half, salt, pepper, cayenne, and onion. 3) Sprinkle bacon, (or one of the other fillings), and cheese in pastry shell. Add egg mixture. Bake at 250 degrees for 35-40 minutes until top puffs, browns lightly, and custard is set. Servings: 6
