    Mussels with Chorizo

    1 pound mussels
    2 oz. chorizo (preferrably raw)
    1 oz. slices shallots
    2 oz. red pepper
    4 oz. clam juice or fish stock
    1 tbsp. oil

    Recipe



    Heat oil and saute chorizo, shallots and peppers. When the sausage is cooked, add the mussels. Add fish stock and steam for 1-2 minutes or until all the mussels open. Serve immediately with a rustic loaf of bread.
