    White Sauce
    1/3 c. butter
    2 cloves garlic crushed
    1/3 c. flour
    1/2 t. salt
    2 c. milk
    1 c. chicken broth

    Red Sauce
    2 c. spaghetti sauce with 1/2 t. red pepper flakes (Sharryl makes her own.)
    Additional Ingredients:
    8 oz. mozzarella
    1/2 c. green onions chopped
    1 t. dried basil
    1/2 t. pepper
    12 cooked lasagna noodles
    1 lb. fresh crab meat (or 6 small fillets)
    1 c. grated parmesan

    Recipe



    Process: melt butter & garlic in saucepan, add flour & salt. Cook, stirring constantly, until bubbly, then remove from heat. Stir in milk & broth. Heat to boiling stirring constantly; boil & stir for one minute. Stir in mozzarella, onions, basil & pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until cheese melted.

    Spread 1/4 of white sauce (c. 1 1/2 cps) in greased rectangular baking dish (13’ x 9’ x 2’) & top with 4 noodles; spread 1/2 of red sauce over noodles. Repeat with 2nd 1/4 of white sauce & 4 noodles, then crab (or fillets) & 2nd half of red sauce. Then 3rd 1/4 of white sauce. Add last 4 noodles & remaining white sauce. Bake uncovered at 350° 35 min. or more, sprinkle with parmesan & bake several more min. Let stand 15 min. before cutting & serving. Serves 9.
