    Shrimp and Scallops Au Gratin

    1/4 pound Fresh shrimp, small, peeled, deveined
    1/4 pound Scallops, fresh, small
    3 tablespoons Butter or margarine
    1 tablespoon Green onion, chopped
    2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
    1 cup Heavy cream
    1/2 cup Half-and-half
    1 cup Grated parmesan cheese
    1 dash Red cayenne pepper
    2 tablespoons Brandy (optional)

    Recipe



    Melt butter in skillet over low heat. Add shrimp, scallops, and green onions. Cook 2 or 3 minutes or until shrimp are pink and onion is tender. Stir flour into shrimp mixture. Add cream and half-and-half, cooking over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture starts to thicken. Remove from heat. Add 1/2 cup parmesan cheese and stir until smooth. Add red pepper and brandy. Serve hot over fettuccine or rice with extra cheese, if desired.
