    Recipe for 4

    4 x 6 oz fresh tuna steaks
    1 lb penne pasta
    1 C diced tomatoes
    2 T chopped shallots
    2 T fresh basil
    1 T fresh garlic
    1/4 C extra virgin olive oil
    1/4 C black olives
    1 t capers
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 t red crushed pepper

    Cook the pasta al dente, toss with a little olive oil and set aside
    Sauté the shallots and garlic with olive oil till tender
    Add the diced tomato and continue cooking for 2 minutes
    Add the red crushed peppers, olives and capers, season to taste
    Add the penne pasta to the sauce and toss till heated through, served in a pasta bowl sprinkle with fresh basil and set the tuna on top
