2 tbl. flour
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Recipe
In a saucepan, add a small amount of milk to flour. Stir, making a smooth paste. Add remaining milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens. Cool.
Cream butter, using medium speed of mixer.
Gradually add sugar and salt; beat well.
Add cooled milk mixture. Whip until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla.
Spread on cake.
