    2 1/2 cup Bisquick
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped
    1/2 cup nuts

    Layer in 1-quart wide-mouth (makes it easier to pack down) canning jar in order listed above. After each layer pack the layer down.

    For the Tag:

    Apricot Bread
    1 1/4 cup milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 egg slightly beaten
    1/2 cup softened butter or margarine

    Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees. In a large bowl, mix the in=gredients of the jar together. Stir in milk, vanilla, eggs, and butter or margarine. Mix until completely blended. Spoon the batter into a large loaf pan that is well greased with waxed paper in the bottom. Bake for 1 hr or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in the pan on a wire rack before removing.
