List of Ingredients
8 lrg russet potatoes, 1/4" slices
8 oz of heavy whipping cream
2 cups of milk (2% is best)
1 Lb of ground pork (or 4 large spicy pork sausages hollowed out)
1 Lb of kale, bite sized pieces
1 sm white onion, finely chopped
6 strips of bacon, 1/2" slices
Seasonings: 1 TBSP of fresh ground pepper, 1 tsp of crushed red pepper,
1 tsp oregeno, 1 tsp of basil
Recipe
In LARGE pot, combine potatoes, cream, milk, and seasonings (simmer 10 mins), while it simmers, soft fry bacon, partially drained, set aside; cook ground pork thoroughly, drain fat completely, set aside; combine meats (w/reserved bacon fat) with soup, and simmer for 5-7 mins, then add kale (kale will soften in 5 mins any longer and it'll be limp)
