Blueberry Raspberry Jam

4 cups blueberries
4 cups raspberries
7 cups sugar
1 6-oz. bottle, liquid pectin
Combine berries in a large saucepan. Crush with a wooden spoon. Add sugar. Mix well. Use low heat to dissolve sugar. Increase heat until mixture reaches full boil for one minute; stir as needed. Remove saucepan from heat. Add pectin. Mix well. Skim foam from top. Ladle mixture into sterilized jars. Seal with thin layer of melted paraffin.
