    1/2 pound beef top round steak or flank steak
    1 tablespoon cooking oil
    2 tablespoons chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 teaspoon instant beef bouillon granules
    1/2 teaspoon sugar
    1/2 cup dairy sour cream
    1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
    8 ounce can tomatoes, cut up
    2 ounce can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
    1/4 cup sliced pitted ripe olives
    2 tablespoons dry white wine
    Hot cooked noodles

    Score flank steak on both sides. Partially freeze round or flank steak; cut into 2 x 1/4 inch strips. Brown quickly in hot oil; remove from skillet. Add onion and garlic; cook till tender. Return meat to skillet. Stir in bouillon granules, sugar, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and dash pepper. Combine sour cream and flour; add sour cream mixture , tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, and wine to skillet. Cook and stir till thick. Serve over noodles. Makes 2 servings.

    Microwave cooking directions: Cut steak into strips as above. Allow steak to thaw completely. In 1 quart nonmetal casserole combine meat, oil, onion, and garlic. Cook, covered with waxed paper, in countertop microwave oven on high power for 2 1/2 minutes; stir once. Stir in bouillon granules, sugar, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and dash pepper. Stir together sour cream and flour. Add sour cream mixture, tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, and wine to casserole. Micro-cook, covered, about 4 minutes, stirring 3 times. Serve as above.
