1 3/4 lbs ground beef
1/4 lb. pork sausage meat
1 c. soft bread crumbs (2 slices)
1 c. catsup
1 lg. onion, chopped (1 c.)
1 egg
2 t. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 t. salt
1 T. brown sugar
1/4 t. dry mustard


Recipe



Mix ground beef and sausage meat with bread crumbs, 1/2 c. of the catsup, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and salt until blended; shape into a loaf in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes; remove from oven. Mix the remaining 1/2 c. catsup, brown sugar, and mustard; spread on top of loaf. Bake, basting once or twice, 15 minutes, or until top is brown.

Makes 8 servings.
