    4 Large sweet potatoes
    4 slices bacon
    1/2 cup chopped walnut meats
    1 Tablespoon butter
    milk
    salt
    paprika

    Recipe



    Bake 4 large sweet potatoes until tender. Cut in half lengthwise and scoop out the pulp.

    Mash the pulp fine, add salt to taste, a dash of paprika and the butter. Add enough milk so that the mixture can be whipped up, then whip it until creamy and slightly fluffy.

    Fold in the chopped walnut meats and spoon the mixture into the potatoe skins so that it is heaping. Lay a thin slice of bacon over the top of each. Set in a buttered dish and bake in a hot oven, about 400 degrees F. until the bacon is crisp.
